MISSION WEEK: BEING WITH THE MISSIONARIES

Covid-19 busted many of our oppurnities this year 2019. Taking oppurnity of the mission Sunday to get out of boring and regular schedule Darsanites conducted a mission week. To encourage everybody to mission and to experience a real mission we went to Jam for one day mission experience where Fr. Varghese Puthuparampil was serving in his ashram for mentally challenged people. It was a good experience for everyone. We conducted games and interacted with inmates. It was really challenging to manage them. We also had a live interview with Fr. Varghese. His views on mission challenged all of us to be a good missionary. Along with that for a week we had live interviews of veteran missionary fathers and sisters by our brothers. Every experience was like a if they were really calling us to see the real face of missionaries.

In the midst of this, on November 1 we celebrated mission Sunday solemnly. Starting with solemn Holy Qurbana, then felicitating some real life missionaries we had different programmes for the parisoners. We prepared food stalls, games stalls and auction were also held. Considering the protocols everybody enjoyed the mission Sunday fruitfully. It was a happy day for Darsanites because we were able to conduct the programmes successfully.
