Darsana Kala Samiti 2020-07-10
Literary and Cultural Activities are organized under the department of DKS which forms the part of the co-curricular activities. The department conducts regular cultural activities like training in Speech and Music (both vocal and instrumental) to develop the talents of the students. It organizes debates and other kinds of competitions. Friday afternoons are set apart for the activities of DKS.
DS Kalyan Samiti 2020-07-08
The DSKS programme is a part of the academic curriculum that carries two credits. One of the important activities of the DSKS is providing free tuition and value education classes for students in and around Wardha. It also promotes regular visits to the hutments of the quarry workers in the neighborhood, occasional visits to the district jail, remand home and Manohar Dham (Leprosy Rehabilitation Centre), Dattapur.
Pastoral Engagement 2018-05-19
Darsana envisions itself as the sprouting ground of young missionaries. Although pastoral opportunities are generally reserved for the stage of Theological formation, Darsana seeks to prepare its students for future tasks. Our Brothers go to St. Antonys Parish, Wardha and render assistance in conducting Sunday liturgy, catechism classes, ward level prayer meetings as well as various programmes for the faithful, who are a part of Darsana Eucharistic community at Sawangi. Whenever possible, students also reach out to other Mission Stations in Wardha zone for pastoral assistance.
House Administration 2018-07-17
By actively participating in the running of Darsana through sharing the responsibilities in planning and executing, each student grows into a mature person accepting personal responsibility and accountability on the one hand, and appreciating the spirit of teamwork on the other. Hence the whole programme of training in Darsana is an endeavor towards the integral development of academic, spiritual and cultural talents of the students.
Sports and Games 2019-11-16
Sports and games form an integral part in the holistic formation of an individual. The Sports and Games department in Darsana is vibrant and effervescent. It is animated by an able departmental head from our resident staff, who coordinates the various activities of the department. One hour every day in the evening is set aside for sports and games which include basketball, football, volleyball and cricket. Matches are regularly conducted between the batches and the neighbouring Claretian seminary. Annual sports day is conducted on the eve of the Rectors day every year. The day is enthusiastically participated by all the brothers who are divided into different groups and various track and field activities and games are conducted among them.
VEP 2020-03-11
The VEP also forms the part of the academic curriculum having two credits. An orientation will be given to the students before undertaking the exposure programme. The exposure programme is at least for a period of ten days. Each student has to prepare a report of ten pages, consisting the activities in which one has involved during the exposure programme, the personal reflection and the evaluation of the activities undertaken.
